Jo Cowan
After 12 years of practicing yoga, Jo completed her 200 hours training with Naomi Annand and Adam Hocke at Yoga on the Lane. She teaches vinyasa flow, with a focus on breath-led movement, aiming to build both strength of body and stillness of mind.
Jo believes everyone should be able to access yoga, and the incredible benefits it brings. Her yoga classes are based on the principle that all bodies are good bodies, all humans deserve to feel valued and accepted, and that the ability to nurture kindness towards yourself is one of the most powerful things we can learn.
She teaches light hearted and joyful classes, and believes the best thing she can leave her students with is an ability to maintain a compassionate and comfortable relationship with themselves and an awareness of their own deep wisdom.
Wake Up Flow
Set yourself up for a great day! Expect a gentle warm-up to wake up your body, followed by an energy-promoting yoga flow, a calming meditation followed by the stillness of Savasana.
The classes are designed to fit around your schedule, so you can begin the day feeling calmer, more focused, energised, and productive.
After class, why not stop off at our on-site cafe for some breakfast or a coffee. A perfect start to the day!
